Reconnect with Your Body.

Our bodies carry our stories: through illness, pain, shame, or struggle. If you're living with distress about your body, your health, or how you're seen, know this: you're not broken. You're human. At Heal&Grow, we offer safe, non-judgmental therapy for people navigating body image concerns, eating issues, chronic health challenges, and the emotional weight they bring. Healing starts with compassion, not control.

Body Shame & Identity

Body image distress can seep into every part of life: how you show up, how you eat, how you love, how you speak to yourself. Maybe you were told your body was "wrong" from a young age, or maybe illness changed how you experience yourself. In therapy, we hold space for that pain without judgment. Together, we explore a more accepting, compassionate way of relating to your body, beyond perfection or punishment.

What we help with
  • Disordered Eating & Eating Disorders
  • Body Shame & Image Concerns
  • Chronic Illness & Chronic Pain
  • Fatigue & Invisible Health Conditions
  • Illness-Related Emotional Distress
Many people come to therapy believing they must fix themselves. But healing doesn't begin with fixing, it begins with softening. With listening. With learning to be on your own side again.

At Heal&Grow, we understand that struggles with body image and health are not superficial. They're often rooted in deep experiences of shame, fear, or invisibility. Questions

The Body Image, Health & Self-Compassion FAQ

Is this therapy only for people with diagnosed eating disorders?
No, we support anyone struggling with body image, health-related distress or self-compassion, with or without a formal diagnosis.
Can therapy help if I've lived with chronic illness for years?
Yes, long-term illness brings its own emotional weight, and therapy can help you process and cope with that alongside the physical experience.
I feel ashamed of my body. Will you tell me to love it?
No, we won't push forced positivity. The goal is a more accepting, compassionate relationship with your body at whatever pace feels honest to you.
Do I need to talk about food and weight?
Only if it's relevant to you. Sessions are led by what matters to you, not a fixed script.
Can I access this therapy from outside the UK?
Yes, we welcome UK and international clients online.
